Ian
has been designing and delivering programmes for major
clients for the last eleven years. The range of clients extends across the occupational
spectrum – finance, engineering, local government, charities,
hospitality. His
work is largely UK based but with significant levels
in The Channel Islands. As well as running courses, he also acted as
the consultant for the management training video ‘Project
Closure’ produced by the Executive Business Channel.
Ian
started his career in teaching, moved into managing
career development services for a public sector organisation
and then into project management roles first with Renault
and subsequently with a major f.m.c.g. company.
Ian
believes that ‘sharp-end’ experience should underpin
all management training and his fundamental principle
is ‘Don't teach it, if you ain't done it yourself’! This
approach means that Ian’s down to earth style provides
pragmatic solutions for managers attending his courses. His programmes are practical and delivered with
the energy and enthusiasm of someone who has a commitment
to improving performance.
