Our comprehensive and practical Introduction to Management workshop
provides an excellent foundation for all managers and
professionals and particularly for those taking up their first management appointment.
Introduction to Management focuses on the reality of modern
management and the need to manage not just staff but
relationships up, down, across and beyond the organisation -
every manager and professional needs to be able to get things
done through, with and for others.
Emphasis is placed on competences, skills and values and
on self-management and self-development. The course also
provides an introduction to project management and to functional
specialisms such as marketing, personnel and finance.
Individual
participants can opt to extend this course with further study
to achieve a CMI accredited Award or the CMI Certificate in
Management & Leadership (level 5).

Qualification
Participants may opt to
follow our Introduction to Management Workshop with further
study and an assignment leading to the CMI Level 5 Award
'Introduction to Management & Leadership'.
Participants may also additionally opt to take the CMI Level 5
Award 'Personal Development as a Manager & Leader'.
The combination of thee two awards qualifies for the CMI
