This practical one-day course, Managing Budgets, is designed
for all those who have to manage and monitor budgets and make
sense of budgetary information.
It provides an introduction to, and a review of, some
of the core concepts and techniques of managing budgets such
as variance analysis, cash-flow forecasting, break-even
analysis, marginal costing, gross contribution etc as well as
providing ‘hands-on’ instruction in how to use MS Excel to
develop and use appropriate tools for budget management.
The course is designed to be suitable for people
from public, private and third sector organisations.
