A lively and often amusing
presenter, Philip claims to be one of the UK’s most
experienced management development consultants. He specialises
in designing and presenting courses on personal effectiveness,
communication skills and organisational behaviour. He
works internationally (particularly in the Middle East)
with organisations from all sectors of the economy and
with people at all levels. He has been an Associate
Consultant with the Chartered Management Institute for
over fifteen years and was at one time the Institute’s
Head of Management Development Services.
Philip’s background is in general management and in
sales and marketing. He has worked in training and consultancy
services, the conference and hospitality industry, film
and video publishing and held a senior university management
post. Prior to developing his management career, Philip
spent three years as an education officer working for
the Nigerian government and taught in schools in the
UK and France.
Philip is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological
Society, a Licentiate Member of the Chartered Institute
of Personnel and Development and a Member of the Chartered
Management Institute. Publications include ‘Appraising
Your Staff’ (Kogan Page 1997) and ‘Training for Time-Management’
(Gower 1994) as well as articles in professional journals.
